This position is part of the Global Marcom team and is a central role in the product launch process, with responsibility to develop and execute global go-to-market plans for new products and services, through the bi-annual launch events. With accountability for ensuring products are launched into the marketplace successfully, this role requires a combination of strong marketing skills, project/program management and an ability to coordinate resources from a variety of locations and supporting teams. This position works closely with Product Management, Marketing Communications, Product Support/Service and Sales.

Key accountabilities:

  • Manage and drive all elements of the product launch process including development and execution of go-to-market plans and internal organizational readiness
  • Work with operational stakeholders to coordinate launch plans between operations, R&D, and marketing
  • Coordinate project launch strategy development, so that launches are logical and clear as to the objectives.
  • Apply the global product launch process to all product launches including inputs, timelines and key deliverables from cross-functional partners, managing multiple launches at the same time
  • Understand the scope and operational requirements and impacts of all cross functional teams for each launch including engineering, quality, manufacturing, product line, marketing & service
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new product marketing programs and enhancements to value proposition messaging.
  • Lead delivery against Launch Plan checklist and coordinate related activities across various cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate regular launch team meetings, publishing notes and action items to keep team members up-to-date
  • Integrate the launch process with the product development process per KPI to enable key decisions to be made on product inclusion or exclusion in the launch windows

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements

  • Relevant university degree within project management, communications, marketing and sales

Technical Requirements

  • Welding experience is nice to have, but not needed
  • Technical understanding is needed.
  • Knowledge in project management, communication, marketing and sales is required

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing/communications experience
  • Strong people skills with high energy drive
  • Experience developing integrated marketing plans/strategies utilizing both traditional and digital tactics
  • Experience utilizing digital and social media for marketing purposes
  • Experience working with an advertising agency/internal marketing department on large projects
  • Experience with marketing research (VOC, IDI's, Online Surveys, etc.)
  • Comfort with continuously changing opportunities and priorities and working in a fast- paced environment
  • Highly driven self-starter, motivated, with excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Able to effectively coordinate individuals and resources to achieve goals from multiple functions and geographies of the company
  • Highly adept at developing creative solutions to issues
  • Ability to handle several tasks and juggle multiple priorities at the same time
  • Ability to work independently and productively in an unstructured environment

Mobility & Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed
