The Compensation Analyst role is an exciting opportunity to broaden your Rewards expertise and enhance your career development. This position is a key member of the ESAB Compensation team supporting our major compensation processes and initiatives. The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for working across the global Human Resources team. The primary function of this role is to contribute to the design, development, deployment and analysis of Global Compensation programs. We are looking for someone with progressive Compensation experience who is excellent at conducting detailed compensation and job analysis, has strong communication skills and can handle multiple projects simultaneously. We need someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can work in the grey and is results-driven.

- Understand current and emerging market trends, identify potential opportunities and gaps, leverage external best practices, and design compensation initiatives that are aligned to global principles but provide flexibility and local customization to account for cultural and market differences.
- Provide analytical support in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of compensation programs including base pay and variable pay elements.
- Lead specific projects which could include; job leveling, salary range design, annual salary planning or salary survey administration.
- Lead the year end compensation process, which includes testing, communication, and training.
- Prepare moderate to complex modeling and data analysis to support the decision-making process regarding plan design.
- Evaluate, level, and determine the market value of new and existing jobs and ensuring consistency across the organization.
- Ensure compensation programs, processes, tools, and policies are designed for global application and manage program and administrative costs, effectiveness, and risks.
- Communicate and educate on compensation and incentive programs to employees.
- Provide guidance on employee and candidate compensation including pay adjustments and job offers.
- Participate in compensation surveys and leverage survey results to ensure market competitiveness of company salary ranges, incentive targets, and employee compensation.
- Work in collaboration with HRIS to ensure data integrity of compensation fields such as titling, salary structure and compensation related fields on a global basis.

- BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years compensation experience.
- Global experience preferred
- Workday experience recommended.
- Ability and willingness to think strategically and act tactically.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills able to draw conclusions, themes and trends from large amounts of data and propose solutions.
- Extremely detail-oriented'able to provide accurate data and concise, meaningful reporting.
- Must be self-directed, able to meet deadlines, work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented, professional, and fast paced environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills and ability to successfully present complex material to senior leaders.
- The highest level of integrity and management of confidential information and protecting data privacy.
