Position Summary: The Project Manager will be a key member of the Supply Chain Data Analytics & Governance Team set out to deliver world-class project execution. Key responsibilities include driving high visibility cross-functional projects to successful implementation and adherence of processes across the global ESAB network.


  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering.
  • Master's degree in business administration or in Information Technology (Preferably)
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and procurement (i.e. using PFEP, planner/buyer, ERP systems)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing analytics and handling large sets of data
  • Basic experience in project management and change management, including project management software tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Access, Excel, Power point, etc.)


  • Develop a worldwide governance system to drive standardization and compliance of materials management processes
  • Audit compliance to governance and action plans to close gaps
  • Create, maintain and publish documents for process implementation
  • Provide feedback to Global Planning/Purchasing on improvements needed to process, tools and reports. (i.e. New Product Introduction)
  • Co-ordinate kaizen and workshops to close gaps identified and implement improvements
  • Share reports to track improvements and global adherence to governance
  • Lead project meetings to track progress, identify gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Work to improve linkage and collaboration between Supply chain and other functions

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Drive initiatives in the material planning and production processes that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
  • Generate an optimized Material Management plan for business excellence
